Description:

The Lift tool allows you to create lifts that go from A to B.

Usage:

The tool menu has a drop down menu where you can choose the model of the lift you are going to create. Left click somewhere on the ground to spawn a lift. Using the Physics Gun you can seperate the lift into three pieces: one solid and two transparent ones. The solid piece is the lift itself, that will oscillate between the two other parts, the ghosts. These however are not solid, allowing you to go through them, and can be constrained to other props.

The lift model has several wire inputs and outputs:

INPUTS:

Lift Duration - The time the lift needs to go from ghost A to ghost B. (default 5)

Up - If given a 1 input the lift goes to ghost A.

Down - If given a 1 input the lift goes to ghost B.

Toggle - If given a 1 input and the lift is at ghost A, it will go to ghost B. When the lift is at ghost B, it will go to ghost A.

Auto - If this input is 1 and a player touches the lift, the lift will start moving. (default 1)

Lock - Disables the lift.

OUTPUTS:

ETA - Outputs the position where between the two ghosts the lift is. It outputs 0 when the lift is at ghost A, 1 if it is at ghost B and numbers between 0 and 1 when the lift is moving.

Going Up - Outputs a 1 if the lift is moving to ghost B. (doesn't work)

Going Down - Outputs a 1 if the lift is moving to ghost A. (doesn't work)

Known Errors:

Lifts placed on moving ships or other objects tend to lag behind
